The game Rainbow Ball presents players with a series of engaging challenges as they navigate obstacles to reach the flag and collect all the stars in each level. Players must contend with various hazards, including moving platforms, spikes, and slippery ice surfaces, adding layers of complexity and requiring precise timing and skill.

Supporting the Rainbow Ball on its journey are a diverse cast of companion balls, each with unique characteristics and abilities: the resilient Green/Rock Ball, the turbo-charged Orange Ball, Puffy the Cloud with its gentle yet formidable power, the lively Yellow Ball capable of jumping, and the fiery Red Flame Ball. These allies enhance gameplay by providing strategic options to overcome obstacles.

Rainbow Ball Rush is an Australian-developed application created by two passionate indie developers dedicated to crafting engaging experiences. The development process involves continuous playtesting and review to refine gameplay, craft new levels, and ensure enjoyment—demonstrated by live testing on devices such as the iPad and iPhone 6s Plus.

GAMEPLAY:

1. Total of 184 levels, with additional content planned
2. Integration of Game Center achievements and leaderboards
3. Four distinct balls with special powers:
   • Green: Tap to transform into Rock Ball
   • Orange: Tap and hold to spin in the opposite direction
   • Yellow: Tap and hold to jump
   • Red: Tap to become Flame Ball
4. Two gameplay modes:
   1. Single-Flick Mode:
      • Four groups of levels, 24 levels each
      • Ten challenging bonus levels in each group, unlocked after achieving three stars in all levels of that group
      • Utilize additional balls in most levels to assist Rainbow Ball in reaching the flag
      • Primarily tests touch-precision and timing
      • Correctly applying spins to balls is crucial for high scores and completing levels with three stars
   2. Multi-Flick Mode:
      • Two groups of levels, 24 levels each
      • Focus on controlling a single ball per level
      • This mode emphasizes timing and precise ball control

HOW TO PLAY:

1. The goal is to guide Rainbow Ball to the flag (or Yellow Ball in group 2 of the multi-flick mode)
2. Swipe your finger across the screen to launch the ball
3. The distance from the center of the ball determines the amount of spin applied; a longer swipe imparts more spin
4. The speed and length of your swipe influence how far the ball is launched
5. In single-flick mode, you are limited to one flick per ball; multi-flick mode allows unlimited flicks, with subsequent flicks primarily resulting in horizontal movement
